Everyday Shapes: Re-done

Fashion and Textiles Everyday Shapes

Everyday Shapes

I was not very satisfied with my original work for Everyday Shapes and I felt there was scope of improvement so I re did it. There was some 3D experimentation we did in class with our shapes so I used those techniques in my design this time. The front represents a long spine on the front of the body to me. Also, it is my most favourite shape out of them all because of it's complication and relation to the original. I have always like shoulder work (like my original idea for 3DDA accessory) so I added that to the shoulder. The sleeve on the other arm is mainly for highlighting the crush work and creating a contrast to the shapes with clean lines. I sketched out the final outcome which is in my sketchbook.
